  In our body 'para' is brahma randhra/sahasrar (pineal body) where soul rests in samadhi. 'shar' is rays i.e. rays of devine spark (knowledge). Thus "parashari" is personified "Super Knowledge". In astrology for knowing benefic and malefic grahas there are no. of principles. In this naisargika benefics "Jupiter, Venus, Full Moon, Mercury when conjucted with benefics. Natural malefics are taken as Sun, Mars, Saturn, Wanning Moon, Mercury with malefics, Rahu, Ketu" and in that if benefics got any kendradipatyam they give malefic results. Like this different reasons told by them are confusing people.

According to sage parashara who learnent astrology directly from brahma for sake of people. He told "sarve trikonataro graha shubha phala pradapee. trimadayaayati paapaphala pradaha". About dashas and antardashas sage parashara told in his purvparashari book in 29, 30 slokas as given below.

         "nadishayurgraha sarve swadashanu swabhuktashu |
          Shubhaashubha phalam nrunaamatma bhavanusarathha ||
"
Meaning: A graha becoming lord of any bhava is not giving that bhava results. It is giving that reults in antar dashas of other grahas.

          "aatmasambandhino yecha ye ye nigasadharminaha |
           teshamamtardasha sevyava dishanhi swadasha phalam ||
"
Meaning: Dashanad is giving his bhava result in other grahas mahadas has due to his relation with other grahas by position, yuti, drishti.

My judgement of a horoscope:
1. By calculating birth chart manually.
2. By consireding strengths, avasthas, balas of grahas.
3. By considering karakas for houses, signs, grahas.
4. By considering padas, argalas, upagrahas etc.
5. By calculating effects of grahas due to position, placement, yuti, drishti on     12 houses and providing that in a neat table.
6. Calculating effects of grahas in mahadashas & antardashas according to     purv parvparashari and providing them in a table.
